Join us for today’s romantically flavoured Happy Hunting! in the treet.tv studios in Garden of Dreams at 3pm, Friday 8th February 2013, with Cinders Vale and Rosamoo Mendelsohn and an interview with Glitch Axelrad of MadPea, who will be talking about the group’s latest amazing Legend of the Month Hunt – Love Potion 9.9.

There are two important “Dates” coming up – Mardi Gras on Tuesday February 12th and Valentine’s Day on February 14th (which is, of course, also V-Day for One Billion Rising – which is seeing a huge celebration in Second Life).  Both days, of course, have led to some great Second Life Hunts, and Happy Hunting’s News Reporter Rosamoo Mendelsohn of Hunt SL has been out hunting for some amazing prizes and hunts to do – and will be bringing news of them to the studio!

Plus there will be news from Rosamoo of exciting hunts that lie ahead!

So join us at 3pm today in the studio for the broadcast. Bring along your hunter friends too. We will be glad to have you all join us for the show.

Or – if you can’t attend in person – tune in at 3pm SLT on Friday for the live show on the Happy Hunting! channel on YouTube (it will go live at 3pm!) – where you can now chat with other audience members and even some of the participants during the show – or catch it later in the week on our shows page on the Treet.tv web site at http://treet.tv/shows/happy-hunting.

Please note that for technical reasons, this week’s Happy Hunting show will be on YouTube rather than live on treet.tv.  It will, however, be available soon after broadcast on the treet.tv channel.

After all the gloomy posts of the last few days, we have something a little more fun for you!

Our next issue will be our Valentine’s Day Prim Perfect – and we want to feature your stories!

Many people have met their significant other in Second Life – and then gone on to meet and sometimes even marry in First Life.  Sometimes people have moved halfway across the globe to achieve this!

Others have met and formed deep relationships in Second Life, even though they accept that they will probably never meet in First Life.

And sometimes couples have travelled to Second Life together, and found new aspects to their relationship together, perhaps finding again something that has been left behind in the busyness of daily life, or perhaps discovering – in the amazing diversity of Second Life – something wholly new, and perhaps not even possible in real life!

Whatever your story, we would like you to share it with us.  If you’d like to be part of our special Valentine feature, complete the form below, and one of us will contact you.

So don’t delay – share your story with us – before January 18th – to feature in the February issue of Prim Perfect.

In a special Designing Worlds for Valentine’s Day Eve, Saffia and Elrik visit the extensive regions of Avilion in Second Life, a complex of mediaeval-themed roleplay, residential and communal areas with an extremely strong sense of community.

The regions date back to 2006, and are home to the famous and extremely romantic Avilion Ballroom. Saffia and Elrik also explore combat areas, visit a gypsy encampment and elf circle, and discover the Avilion Library, where the history of the community is maintained.

And, of course, no visit to Avilion would be complete without a visit to the famous ballroom – something that our Prim Perfect readers voted to see included in their favourite Valentine locations and described here by Eva Bellambi.

Join us at 2pm SLT today, Monday 13th February for a very special Valentine’s show at a very special location – or rather, a choice of locations!

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we have visited the beautiful region of Avilion to experience the romance of the famous ballroom there – something that our Prim Perfect readers voted to see included in their favourite Valentine locations – as described here by Eva Bellambi.

But, stunning though the ballroom is – there is more to Avilion which consists of a whole realm of roleplaying and romantic regions. You’ll see Elrik and Saffia, in the company of Melissa Akina and Siric Freenote, explore the combat areas and the library as well as the gypsy and elven realms. Saffia has a chance to perform in a merrow ballet beneath the waves and, of course, we all dance in the heavenly ballroom!

And as well as seeing some beautiful creations, we gain a fascinating perspective on an amazing community, based around the concept of roleplaying.

It all makes for a breathtaking show – and we are asking our audience to don their best formals or most glorious medieval of fantasy costumes and join us to watch the broadcast in Avilion.

There are two locations in Avilion where the broadcast will be shown – the Theatre in Avilion Heart and a special Cloud Ballroom in Avilion Nexus.

Please note that these two landmarks will lead you NOT to the locations themselves, but to nearby fixed landing points – where there will be greeters to assist you.

The first one is to the Heart SIM. From there, walk through the vines (in the direction the floor marks as “Heart”) and you will find a teleport ball on your right just as you get through. Choose the location “Mystic Portal Sky”. That will take you to the Theatre where Melissa Akina will be hosting.

The second one is to the Nexus SIM. When you land there, you will be in a dome. When the dome has rezzed, you will see a gap in it. Walk through and you will see a small ball hovering with the text above “Cloud Ballroom”. Click on that to teleport and you will find yourself in the Cloud Ballroom, where Siric Freenote will be hosting.
