MJC – Charity Graduation Event raises L$71,120

You may remember a little while ago we told you about the Master Jewelers Certified Charity Graduation Event held on Saturday 26th July 2007 at the Magique sim, which had the aim of raising funds for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders.

Now we are delighted to tell you that this event raised t the substantial sum of L$71,120 which equates to a cheque for US $251.67 which has been sent to the New York offices of MSF/DWB.

Winners of the auction items were:

Jeweled Music Box: Emartos Lane.

‘Aurae’ set: cutflower Oh.

Personalised cameo set and signet ring with seals: Tsunami Rickenbacker.

Izira Kirkorian, MJC owner, Rikard Bashly, and Squeakapoo Tracy say, “Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation go out to all those who contributed to making this event such a resounding success, the musicians, presenters, DJs, models, the owner of the sim, and of course the the SL residents who donated unstintingly thier time, efforts, skills, expertise, and money so willingly in support of the charity.”
